The Perth Zoo Science Program provides support to the Species Recovery Programs to maintain captive breeding colonies and to provide animals for establishment or supplementation of wild populations.
Under general supervision this position provides general care, husbandry and health monitoring to a range of taxa in the Perth Zoo collection.
The role of this position is to work under general direction as an effective member of the section team providing the highest level of care, husbandry and health monitoring to a broad range of section taxa in the Perth Zoo collection. Proficiency and competencies are measured against the Zoo’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
In accordance with relevant legislation and departmental policy, the successful applicant will be required to possess or obtain a current and satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement.
