Pukaha are excited (and little surprised!) to have their 3rd clutch of Pateke (Brown Teal) ducklings for the season. This clutch were successfully hatch in our new free-flight aviary.
Once they reach about a month old, they will be moved to a quarantine area before being transported to Isaac’s Wildlife Trust to be flocked prior to their release a one of many predator controlled sites around New Zealand.
