This is a rare opportunity to be considered for membership of Zoos Victoria’s Keeper Pool. Members of Keeper Pool are eligible for filling short-term, full-time, part-time and casual vacancies within our Life Sciences Departments.
We are looking for people with animal husbandry experience who are team players who thrive in a challenging environment; are problem solvers; and who demonstrate safe, positive work behaviour. If you share our passion for fighting extinction, engaging visitors in our work and are available to work at short notice, here’s what to do.
Firstly attach your CV and maximum 1-page cover letter. Please note you will be required to complete mandatory pre-screen questions after you have submitted your cover letter and CV, otherwise your application will not be considered.
You also must be able to attend a half day assessment centre on either Wednesday 27th or Thursday 28th March 2019.
Zookeepers work a 7- day roster which includes working on weekends and public holidays. Members of the Keeper Pool must be prepared to work at any of our properties and be available at short notice.
