The Zoo and Aquarium Association (ZAA)

Our mission is to lead Australasian zoos and aquariums to work together to save wildlife.

As a peak body, the Zoo and Aquarium Association (ZAA) represents the collective voice of the zoos, aquariums, sanctuaries and wildlife parks across Australasia that operate to the highest standards.

ZAA would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work. In Australia, this is the Cammeraigal People of the Eora Nation and the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to their Elders, past and present. In Aotearoa, this is Taranaki Whānui ki Te Upoko o Te Ika iwi.
